The Main Lodge at Maiala Park Lodge is a welcoming communal space where you can sink into a sofa by the fireplace, gather around the dining table for a long lunch, or simply pause to admire the rainforest views of Mount Glorious.
The verandah extends the Lodge’s comfort into the open air, offering a variety of seating spots where guests can enjoy the fresh Mount Glorious air and rainforest backdrop. From cozy corners with ample seating perfect for watching the sunrise to the spacious 8-seater dining table ideal for group meals, the verandah invites you to slow down and savour the ever-changing views of the treetops and sky.
The Main Lodge is made for moments that don’t need an agenda. Some guests claim their favourite sofa spot, a glass of wine in hand which, by the way, we’re happy to arrange for you. Others gather around the fire, conversations flowing as naturally as the mountain breeze outside.
For those with a playful streak, the games cupboard becomes a treasure chest with board games and puzzles sparking friendly rivalries, complete with team cheers and good-natured banter. And then, there are the quiet moments: curling up in a reading nook, flipping through a book, or simply existing together in a space that encourages you to slow down and enjoy.
Any guests who book with us will have access to all communal areas. The Main Lodge is not available for separate bookings.
