Heading a bit further from the lodge, you can also easily get to Dayboro and Woodford. Woodford is famous for the annual Woodford Folk Festival that occurs every year between Christmas and New Year.

Good Egg Gallery

The Good Egg Gallery is located in a Queenslander house that is over 110 years old. The Gallery exclusively exhibits local artists from the region, curated by the wonderfully talented Deb Pettigrew. The gallery highlights a delightful array of diverse disciplines across ceramics, textiles, woodturning, painting, photography and glass. Best of all, work exhibited is available for purchase. In 2024, Deb will be hosting art classes.
